Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin 10 mg Blend

Growth hormone axis Research compound (not approved for human use)

Growth-hormone axis blend · also known as Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin

For reference only — not medical advice. Figures are commonly reported values compiled from published sources and may be wrong or out of date. Many compounds listed are not approved for human use. Talk to a licensed clinician before using any compound.

This 10 mg vial holds 5 mg each of tesamorelin and ipamorelin. Tesamorelin is the only GHRH analog with an FDA-approved product, and ipamorelin is a selective GH secretagogue, so the pairing is studied as a two-pathway GH stimulus. Reported chart schedules climb through five steps over about 16 weeks.

Commonly reported reconstitution steps

  1. Vials are usually brought to room temperature (about 15-20 minutes) first.
  2. 3 mL of bacteriostatic water is added slowly down the inside wall of the 10 mg vial.
  3. The vial is swirled gently until clear, not shaken.
  4. This gives 3.33 mg/mL. Mixed vials are typically labeled with the date and refrigerated.

Storage

Before mixing: Sealed vials are commonly stored refrigerated (2-8 °C) and protected from light, or frozen for long-term storage.

After mixing: Reconstituted solution is commonly kept refrigerated (2-8 °C), protected from light, and not frozen.

Commonly used within 28 days of mixing.

How it works

Tesamorelin stimulates the pituitary GHRH receptor, and ipamorelin acts at the ghrelin/GHS receptor. Combined stimulation of the two receptors is associated with a larger pulsatile GH response than either alone.

Researched for

  • Studied for visceral-fat and GH-axis effects (tesamorelin) and selective GH release (ipamorelin).
  • Investigated as a combined GHRH-plus-secretagogue research protocol.

Notes

  • Tesamorelin is FDA-approved as a single-agent brand product; this blend itself is not an approved product.
  • The reference chart lists tesamorelin and ipamorelin in a 2:1 ratio (for example 250 + 125 mcg), which a 1:1 vial cannot deliver, and its syringe-unit column matches neither reading. Totals here follow the chart's combined amounts, split 1:1 as the vial contains.
  • At 3 mL the top step (3 mg total) is 0.9 mL; the chart's own upper volumes exceed 1 mL.
  • Reconstituted solution is commonly refrigerated.
